Angel P. Mercado MSPAS, PA-C is NCCPA board certified to practice Medicine in the state of Florida. He received his bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Stony Brook University, NY. He then graduated and completed his Master’s degree as a Physician Assistant at Stony Brook University School of Health Professions. PA Mercado began his career as an Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant in a demanding NYC hospital challenged each day to provide quality patient care. During this time he also worked in Cardiology diagnosing and treating patients with various cardiac related diagnoses.
In 2016 PA Mercado’s career shifted into Vascular Medicine, working with a Radiologist where he received training in Lower Extremity Venous Ultrasound Diagnostics, as well as specialized techniques to treat Venous Insufficiency including Laser Endovenous Ablation, Ultrasound Guided Microfoam Therapy and Microphlebectomy. PA Mercado has also received training and certificates in cosmetic treatments including Dermal Fillers, Botox and Cosmetic Sclerotherapy for spider veins. PA Mercado’s extensive background in Emergency Medicine, Cardiology, and Vascular Medicine has built his clinical foundation and expertise as a Vein Specialist. With his recent transition to Florida, he is now starting a Family owned Vein practice with his wife in West Palm Beach, Florida.
In his leisure time they enjoy spending time with their two young children. They are both fluent in English and Spanish, and are excited to welcome you to their family owned office.

Francesca L Mercado, RN, BSN
Registered Nurse, Office Administrator
Francesca L Mercado, RN, BSN is a board certified registered nurse licensed to practice medicine in the state of Florida. She first received her bachelor’s degree in Psychology at Baruch University in the City of NY and continued her education at Nassau Community college where she obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Science and Nursing. She began her nursing career at a Long Term Nursing and Rehabilitation Facility, where she managed several units as Charge Nurse. She relocated to West Palm Beach Florida, joining the nursing team at Palms West Hospital in the Telemetry Unit where she collaborated with the Interdisciplinary medical team to provide high quality patient care.
Francesca has now teamed up with her husband and Vein Specialist PA Mercado, to assist in treating patients suffering from venous insufficiency and varicose veins. Franesca will be present during your consultation appointment, and subsequent treatment process, if recommended. She will help to answer all of your questions and make sure you are comfortable during your experience at Mercado Vein Solutions.
Lisa Rosado
Billing Office Manager, Coding & Medical Insurance Claims
Lisa Rosado brings a wealth of greater than 20 years of knowledge and expertise in Billing and Coding for large surgical centers. She will be able to assist you in any questions you have regarding your insurance coverage and benefits.
Lisa is fluent in both Spanish and English, and will be your point of contact for any questions or concerns regarding your insurance benefits.
Sandra Lopez
Front Desk Receptionist
Sandra Lopez brings greater than 30 years of customer service experience. She will contribute her strong leadership skills, excellent communication skills, and customer service experience to our medical office functioning as our Administrative assistant/receptionist.
Sandra is fluent in both Spanish and English, and will be the first person you will likely meet when you enter our office. She will register you in our practice management system and make sure all of your insurance and contact information is up to date.
